Rumi

Der persische Poet und Philosoph erkannte die Liebe als die stärkste Kraft im Universum. Seine Poesie basiert auf dem Verständnis des Universums als harmonisches Ganzes- wo jedes Detail mit jedem anderen Detail verwoben ist- über die Liebe.

Wie auch für die beiden vorangegangenen Klangskulpturen Serien (DIOTIMA und BINGEN) habe ich hier eine Persönlichkeit aus der Geschichte gewählt, dessen Zitate und Überlieferungen ich in höchstem Maße inspirierend für die Stimmarbeit empfinde.  Es bleibt dem interessierten Leser überlassen, die Verbindung zwischen Rumi’s Worten und der Arbeit mit dem Hammer herzustellen:

“Wherever you are, and whatever you do, be in love.”

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

“What you seek is seeking you.”

“Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.”
